David Hodge is a resident of Jonesboro, Georgia and a freelance artist who has studied and worked with established artists in the New York area. Stemming from a family of artists, as a youth the dining room table was where he created his first images of Bruce Lee that Magazine opened the door to explore many mediums and his passion for abstract work.

David has been inspired by many artists including the renowned artist, Otto Neal who is a founding artist of the Fulton Art Fair. The Fulton Art Fair was where David first exhibited his work and began to understand the business of art. David’s works have also been displayed at the Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corp. and the World Trade Center in NYC.

Soon after, he was commissioned for portrait work and hired to support businesses with his graphic design expertise. From this growing interest, he was chosen for the cover of the Class edition entitled, “The History of the Apollo Theater”. This iconic image has been placed with historic archives in tribute to the world-renowned performing arts institution.

Most recently Arts Clayton Gallery, a 30-year-old nonprofit art institution enriching lives through art in the heart of his community has exhibited his one man show “Rewind”.  For David, “Rewind is a concept that explores going back to abstract art as my origin, remembering where I come from”.

David is thrilled to continue his work through newly discovered mediums outreaching to diverse arts enthusiasts.
